1. On July 12, 2003. Stephanie McMahon reinstated the United States Title on SmackDown! Eddie Guerrero defeated Chris Benoit in a tournament final to win the title.
2. SD! GM Kurt Angle strips John Cena of title for putting his hands on him on July 6, 2004 at SD! taping when Cena accidentally clotheslined him.
3. Won Eight Man Elimation Match for vacant title. Participants: Booker T, Charlie Haas, Billy Gunn, Rene Dupree, Luther Regins, John Cena, Kenzo Suzuki, & Rob Van Dam.
4. This was the fifth and final match in a Best of 5 Series.

5. Title was held up after a match on November 22, 2005 in Sheffield, England between Chris Benoit & Booker T. Teddy Long announced a "Best Out of 7" series will be held for the title.

6. During the Best Of 7 Series Booker T got a groin injury and was forced to choose a replacement for him. He selected Randy Orton & Orton defeated Benoit in the Best Of 7 Series 4 - 3, thus winning the WWE United States Title for Booker T.

7. Ken Kennedy beat Bobby Lashley & Fit Finlay in a Three Way Match to win the gold.
