Notes:
1. Davey Boy Smith defeated Owen Hart in a tournament final to win the title.
2. Shawn Michaels was ordered by WWF Commisioner, Sgt. Slaughter, to defend the title against Hunter Hearst Helmsley and intentionally loses the title.
3. Owen Hart defeated Goldust, who dressed up like Helmsley. WWF Commisoner, Sgt. Slaughter, awards the title to Owen Hart after defeating Goldust, who subsituted for Helmsley.
4. Shane McMahon pinned X-Pac in a tag team match then abandoned the title on April 4, 1999.
