1. Mark Lewin and Don Curuts defeated Hans Schmidt and Dick The Bruiser for the titles.

2. The titles were vacated in November of 1959 when Eddie Graham retired.

3. Jerry Graham and Johnny Valentine defeated Mark Lewin and Don Curtis for the titles.

4. Eddie Graham returns to the ring and takes Johnny Valentine's place.

5. The Fabulous Kangaroos (Al Costello and Roy Heffernan) defeated Johnny Valentine and Chief Big Heart after Buddy Rogers walk away from the title.

6. The WWF withdrew from the NWA and became the WWWF in April of 1963.

7. The titles were given to Baron Mikel Scicluna and Smasher Sloan by Johnny Valentine, who turned heel during the match, when Pugliese was injured in the second fall after winning the first fall of the match.

8. Antonio Pugliese leaves the WWWF promotion.

9. The titles were abandoned in 1967.
